Enquiries and planning sessions

Submitting an enquiry does not guarantee a booking. Every enquiry is reviewed individually, and I may decline a project, refer it to another artist at Onyx Tattoo Studio, or ask for a planning session before any booking is confirmed.

Planning sessions are free and don't require a deposit. They're a chance to discuss your idea, placement, and sizing before anything is booked.

Your enquiry and booking details may be shared with the rest of the team at Onyx Tattoo Studio — for example if your enquiry is referred to another artist there, or for the studio's own record-keeping.

Booking, deposits, and payment

By reserving this appointment, you agree to the following: a deposit is required to secure this slot (£50, or £100 for tattoos quoted over £250) and must be paid within 48 hours or the slot is released. The remaining balance is due on the day. If you cancel more than 72 hours before your appointment, your deposit is refunded; cancelling within 72 hours forfeits it. You can reschedule at any time and your deposit carries forward to the new date. A consent and medical history form must be completed before your appointment. If paying by Bitcoin or other cryptocurrency, the amount due is based on the GBP exchange rate at the time payment is made, not at the time of booking. If paying via Klarna, please allow at least 3 days' notice before your appointment so the payment has time to process.

Consent and health information

Before any tattoo appointment, you'll be asked to complete a consent and medical history form. This covers allergies, relevant health conditions, medications, and an acknowledgment of the risks involved in getting tattooed (including but not limited to infection, allergic reaction, and scarring). I reserve the right to decline or postpone a tattoo on health or safety grounds.

Reference images and artwork

Reference images you provide are used only to prepare and carry out your tattoo. Finished tattoo designs remain original artwork; with your permission I may photograph completed work for portfolio and social media use, but I'll always ask first and you're free to decline.

Right to refuse service

I reserve the right to decline any project that I don't feel is suitable for my style, that raises health or safety concerns, or that I otherwise feel isn't the right fit — including after a planning session has taken place.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated from time to time as the studio's processes change. The version that applied when you booked your appointment is the one that governs that booking.
